In the past, I've used Arthur Werner, Flatrate and Moishe's. Although Manor wasn't the 'fastest' at getting the work done, I'd rather have someone be thorough and careful with my china and crystal, TV and computer and nice furniture than be 'fast.' Nothing was broken (that I know of so far, and have done quite a bit of unpacking.) I would choose Manor over any of the other movers I have used and would use them again. They didn't ""take forever"" to get from CT to NYC on a Friday afternoon (Arthur Werner took longer to get from E 63rd to E 46th a couple years ago!), they gave me a 'not to exceed' price (which I am grateful for because they took longer than expected) and stayed true to the price, and an added bonus was the guys were actually cool and fun to pack and move with. They also arrived at 7am when they said they would, rather than 9 or 9:30, and arrived ON TIME (I've never had this happen before.) Mario was the team leader and he was fantastic - I'd recommend him. Their pricing was competitive with all of the other quotes I got, and the customer service was the best I've experienced with a moving company (I didn't have to even use my last name when I called, they knew who I was.) They are a small organization and pay personal attention to their clients. 5 stars.
