If you rely on a pharmacist's advice and calculations for refill dates of critical meds, stay far away from Rite Aid. A fill-in pharmacist refused to refill my important pain med prescription when I arrived at the Putnam Rite Aid on Father's Day. I had the sheet of paper with ""June 19"" written next to the med name by the regular pharmacist. The fill-in guy didn't care, didn't know me or my situation. Ignored the regular pharmacist's calculation and told me to come back ""tomorrow"" or take my prescription and leave. I spent Father's Day and night wracked in pain while my family tried to celebrate Father's Day for me. Unforgivable. Find a CVS. I did.
