The shop is very trustworthy and thorough. My Lexus failed smog check last year and I was told by another mechanic that I would probably need to replace my catalytic converter. This would have cost me a ton of money. I then went to Dr. J Automotive, without an appointment, to get a second opinion and waited for their verdict. They came to me after about an hour and said that I simply needed a replacement air quality sensor. They showed me the old, dirty sensor and replaced it within about 20 minutes. Total cost with labor was about $90 and the car passed smog check!
