I passed my Road Test on the first attempt today, and it's all thanks to Dave! I had the package, which was 7 hours of behind-the-wheel training with Dave and his accompanying me to PennDot for the test in the Driving School car I practiced with. We practiced on the streets and on the highway, which went smoothly with his guidance. He especially helped me with parallel driving (within the first few minutes of practice with Dave I was parking very well, though I had rarely gotten the car in before with my mom trying to teach me!) and perfecting my turns. Dave was always patient and considerate about my concerns, and answered my endless questions. Always calm, he gently informed me of my mistakes and had a great sense of humor. He helped me to enjoy driving and gain confidence in my driving skills. He believed in me, even though I didn't believe in myself. As a result, I became much more relaxed behind the wheel. I got a lot of practice, and he was an understanding, knowledgeable, and light-hearted teacher, and a great driver and person himself! Fantastic job, Dave! Thank you!
