Well. The picnic tables surrounding the restaurant needed repair. That should have told us something. I am ever the optimist. We had close to 50 people there for my wife's family reunion. We parked in the back which showed us just how much TLC this place needs. The front porch was nice but the adjoining side porches were unusable. The front doors were in bad need of windex and the carpet in the lobby should have been discarded years ago. Still trying to stay positive. The food was good but the promised dessert never materialized. Nearly 4:00 I thought we should get our stuff into the room we booked two months before. We were given a key and opened the grimey door on guests watching TV. The male owner to the cluttered office at the first sign of conflict and we had to wait for his wife to tell us what was going on. Those guests decided that afternoon to stay another day. We were booted out of the only room with a kingsize bed.. So could I recommend this place for a family reunion...NO. Very unprofessional and not very clean.
