I have had 21 years of consistently good service with Seaside. Customer service is always helpful and never rude whenever I have had to speak with them. On the rare occasion when I've had extra trash, all I had to do was call and let them know I went over the usual amount and that was all it took to get it entered into the system for pick up on the next trash day. They are quite accommodating.
I can honestly say the people who are having difficulty with their trash pick up and trash cans being tossed everywhere are probably calling and yelling at customer service. This will get you nowhere. Nobody deserves to be yelled at, especially when they are NOT the responsible party. Also, it helps to consistently pay your bill if you want consistent trash pick up.
As for the trash on the ground; we have the same problem here. There are cats and raccoons who get into the trash during the night if you don't secure the lids or if you have no lid at all on the trash can. It is not the responsibility of Seaside employees to clean up the mess in front of YOUR home that was made by feral cats or raccoons. That is your responsibility!! Get off your high horses and lazy arses and clean up your own mess and whining, for crying out loud.
