We bought my dress off the rack just happening 2 find my size & basically my ideal dress for an amazing price we were told that he was a professional cleaner & if we bought our BM dresses there he would clean steam & press my dress for free when we went back 2 get the dresses we mentioned that little fact & he said 2 our faces that he never said it fortunately we had had him write it down on the ticket/receipt when we bought the dress when he pulled it out it was a new ticket without my signature on it he actually had the nerve 2 tell me he forgot 2 get me 2 sign it! we forced him 2 agree 2 his original terms since we were buying the dresses there & didnt want any other discounts he was offering so we had the girls measured i had 3 brides maids & a jr my sister one of my girls has a very hour glass figure mostly top heavy when he measured her he claimed she was measuring at 50 inches which sounded odd 2 her but we trusted him (stupid us) he even had her try on a dress by the same company the only problem was that it was a completely different style the dress i had picked out was strapless he picked out sleeveless when i told him it would fit differently he told me 2 my face i had no idea what i was talking about (i worked in a wedding dress shop for 3 years) when the dresses came in & she tried it on it fell off her it was HUGE! we checked the size & it was a womans 24 she wears a 20! i know there is a size difference but this was absurd she decided 2 try on another girls dress who was an 18 & it fit PERFECTLY he was 2 busy 2 meet with us that day so i called the next day 2 talk about the size & about the shawls which were missing the phone call was awful he was yelling at me telling me the shawls were with the dresses & that he measured her for the dress himself & if it didnt fit it wasnt his fault it was hers & when i told him 2 stop yelling at me he actually said ""well i guess this conversation is over then"" my bridesmaids & i went in the next day 2 confront him about the situation he was forced 2 admit that the shawls had not come it but blamed it on it 97 YEAR OLD FATHER! i mean please! who are you kidding? when he told us that he could still get the shawls in that he could get them in still we told him 2 forget it we didnt want 2 risk it he said he would give us a credit for it we demanded 2 have a new ticket written up with the shawls taken off (which he begrudgingly did) when we asked about the dress he said he measured what he measured & they will have 2 go see the seamstress about it so thats what we did who at that time wasnt there when we complained about the situation in hearing of another she asked if she could measure my bridesmaid who as it turned out was 48 inches NOT 50 like he said which meant that she should have had the size down when when we finally got 2gether with the seamstress & the owner & had my bridesmaid try on the dress she had FOUR INCHES pulled at the sides & hips & 2 at the bust & when he came over 2 measure her guess what he got? FORTY EIGHT! he then proceeded 2 blame her claiming weight loss & a different bra my bridesmaid broke down in2 tears finally telling him that she couldnt have possible lost weight because she was just diagnosed with a tumor & was on medicine that made her gain weight he looked at her turned away muttered ""yeah right"" & walked away calling over his shoulder ""theres nothing i can do"" the alterations came out 2 be around 50 dollars & when i asked about the discount the other girls had the seamstress mumbled something incoherently in a suddenly very thick accent about difficulty & how its really much cheaper then it should be by this point we had had enough we paid for our dresses & left vowing 2 never set foot in the place again but you know what irks me the most? he actually had the nerve 2 tell us several times that he would never screw a customer were his advertisement why would he want 2 screw us? why indeed? well your actions obviously speak louder then your lies
