The apartment complex is on the older side of things, but they have done their best to maintain it. When I moved into my apartment in 2006, the cabinets, fixtures and carpets were new. The building itself was old, but the furnishings were newer and of average quality. I have never had a problem having maintenance done, I have always submitted the work request online. The landlord and super are cordial and I personally haven't had any run-ins as a current resident. I have a one bedroom apartment which is not large or remarkable, but is cozy and suffices for my needs. The thing that really makes this complex stand out is that the rent is on the lower side and it allows pets. It's across the street from the park and is very pet friendly. If you're comfortable with non-luxury furnishings, this is a pretty decent place to live. The rent and the pet policy are trade-offs for it being older.
