On Wed April 20 at approx 3:15 pm I was coming from a dentist appointment. Before that I had just worked a 8 hr day at my job so I was feeling a lil tired and wanted a quick dinner. I drove out of my way to Ted's in North Troy. I went inside to place my order to take home with me for my male mate and myself. \r
I am a collared sub, therefore I had on my leather collar that was placed around my neck by my male mate as a symbol of our relationship. I wear this collar everywhere but this is the first time ever I was made fun of because of it. I understand many do not understand the relationship between a submissive and her dominate. I am respected in my relationship, cherished, loved and feel safe. Not understanding is no reason to treat anyone the way I was treated that day. The women behind the counter openly laughed aloud at me, made comments aloud and mentioned me to others behind the counter as well as another woman also made a point to come and look at me. I stood there feeling very uncomfortable and hurt. I paid for my order, stood there quietly feeling more uneasy as the time passed and collected my order when it was brought to me. I did make a comment to the woman who waited on me ( who I will also say she did not contribute to the rude behavior of her co workers) I replied as she handed me my order "" tell the girls I am happy to have been able to amuse them"".\r
I was polite, I was quiet and did not make a scene. Upon coming home my male mate saw I was upset and encouraged me to write this review. I will not ever go into that Ted's again even if I was starving that the food was free. \r
I want to mention here that I have many times been to the Ted's on Hoosick Street and was never made fun of or left there feeling uneasy. They have always treated me with respect and politely. To them I say Thank you, I will be back.
