I went to womens doc the first time in 2009 and had an exam by Dr. Merchant. At first she seemed nice and truly caring about my health and concerns. However, after I had a bad pap smear and colposcopy, she told me I needed cryosurgery. I asked her what the risks were, especially if there was a chance I could become infertile and she told me there were no risks at all. I thought this sounded a little fishy, so I got a second opinion from my PCP, and he told me that I DID NOT need cryosurgery, just pap smears every 3 months, and that if I did have this cryosurgery done, there would be a very good chance I would be infertile. This doctor LIED straight to my face just so she could convince me to do an unnecessary procedure to get money. I'm 32 and am planning on having children, if I would have listened to this money sucking doctor, I probably would have never been able to have any children. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!! ALL SHE CARES ABOUT IS MONEY. SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH IN ANY WAY. FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION AND THE SAFETY OF YOUR HEALTH DO NOT SEE HER. I have told all of my friends and family about this horrible experience and I truly hope that for the sake of all womens health, that the word gets around about this crooked doctor
