For a bank that prides themselves on ""5 Star Service,"" I have never encountered any establishment that is so happy to lose a long-standing customer over a paltry sum. When I opened my account four years ago, I declined overdraft coverage and asked that instead my account not be permitted to be in the negative balance (bounce checks, decline card, etc.) To my surprise, I recently found myself in the negative after the bank allowed a transfer to go through with a total of $141 of overdraft/negative balance fees.
