When I needed a top stylist for the photo on one of my book covers, I fortunately discovered the artistry of Mark Garrison. He was working with Frederick Fekkai at the time. Since then I have been a loyal customer -- delighted with his salon in every way. I find the staff to be warm, accessible, & accommodating. It is no accident that the majority of reviews for the Mark Garrison Salon are 5 star. I have also read the few unflattering reviews and all I can say is that some people are never satisfied! The fact that someone would suggest that Mark's STAFF wrote the positive reviews as advertisements is ridiculous. Mark's establishment is first rate -- quality and class. It stands on its own merits. My beautiful color is a tribute to the talented ""Joseph"" -- and I travel from Hartford,CT. for his expert touch. I have never left the MG Salon unhappy with my cut or color. Mark has worked hard to earn his stellar reputation. He is caring, intense, and fiercely devoted to his customers. It is true that he multitasks because he tries to please everyone. People who complain that his attention is ""divided"" probably wouldn't complain when they are the ones being given a quick bang trim. If you want a cookie cutter stylist who will fawn all over you and feed your ego, look elsewhere. Mark is not impressed. He is an artist. He is dedicated to making each client look and feel wonderful in a setting that is friendly and unpretentious -- a welcome relief from some of the stuffy salons in the city!!
