The best part about the hotel is the great location, on Ocean Drive, yet in the quieter northern section so its not too noisy. Beach is across the street and very convenient. Rooms are a fair value, very small but reasonably well maintained. Other amenities are very basic to non-existent, but if you are in Miami Beach for hotel amenities then you are in the wrong place.
Lobby is small/basic. Staff consists of one person at the front desk. I would rate this a somewhat above average value for Miami Beach, provided you get a good price by searching the net. Not a good deal at full price. Would stay here again if the price is right. Rooms do have a small safe which is important in Miami.
