elusive chiropractic subluxation scam 4/12/2011

To be fair & give both sides, the staff is great, they make you feel comfortable. The Chiro Matt, easy to talk to, appears legitimate; however, I could not have been more wrong about his ethics (not his staff, not how friendly he is, he is nice) I don’t agree with. I dislike seeing anyone being taken advantage of, it’s 1 thing when its myself and I can distinguish right from wrong but it’s another when I know that I “almost” fell for it because Matt is nice & unassuming. I get his followers; unfortunately, most are not seeing what I did. If someone takes advantage or is dishonest, would you want to spread the word to help others not make the same mistake you did? A lady wrote on another site she was going in to see Matt 3x a week (sound familiar) for POOR POSTURE w NO RESULTS & he offered no solutions OUTSIDE of his office when she asked him repeatedly. 2 years later, she stopped going to him, out of a ton of money. That could have been me, or even you? If this post saves just 1 person the undeserved anxiety I had for a night then to me, it was worth it. If you don’t want to believe me, I understand but do me a favor & really pay attention to research, get a 2nd or 3rd opinion and you might be surprised by what you find. Just because he has the title CHIRO doesn’t mean he’s credible & he’s not a MD., he’s a CHIRO, big difference. It’s easy to get comfortable, become instantly loyal to someone that doesn’t fit the profile of someone that would run this type of operation, following? My former chiro from CA had me get my x-rays done by a radiologist at UCLA where they had me bring my x-rays. The fact 360 takes them in the office may not be in your best interest, they are not radiologists nor is this (x-rays) their specialty, remember this. I had gone in for a pinched nerve in my upper back/shoulder area thinking 360 was x-raying that. I wanted natural relief vs. taking Advil every 4 hours. I come back the following week and the pain worked itself out naturally (although they wanted me there the next day) claiming I all of a sudden have phase 3 sublux. degeneration of the neck showing me an x-ray, claiming it was mine, basically my neck was decaying in not-so-many-words and that I'd be like one of those old ladies in a wheel chair in the next 10 years if I didn't get it taken care of. I had to ask him a lot of questions and to give me an example, he could not, so I gave HIM an example, I said, this is similar to a tooth with decay right, he then said yes, that is a good ex., he didn’t seem to understand his diagnosis himself ,a bit of a disconnect. I had x-rays done over a year ago from a top radiologist at UCLA medical & you would think they would have diagnosed phs 1 or 2 but now I’m all of a sudden phs 3? People fall for this? I have no issues with my neck; I went in for a pinched nerve, back which he offered no guidance, now I have a serious neck condition, we see the pattern here? Ironically, he didn't even ask how the back was when I returned, huh? Matt focused on this money maker because my insurance pays for 20 visits at 100%. Matt said to come 3x a week to fix it & its reversible. When I said I didn’t have time to come in 3x’s a wk he didn’t like my response & stressed the importance but could spread it out 1x a wk although it would take longer (either way, all the same money). Interesting I go in for 1 thing MINOR & now I’m supposed to see him 3x a week? Has anyone ever gone to Matt once or twice with great results to not return? It appears everyone stays if you read his reviews. He tries to sell himself as a holistic doctor that is helping you which is inaccurate. I admit, I was disappointed that I wasted my time at his office, my gut went off I was taken! Doing my own research there is plenty of it to find, the vitamins he sells that I bought are from some guy that went to jail, it’s all over the net, another money maker not FDA approved. more
