very bad business practice From 25 September thru to approx 25 November 2009 (2 months), I called Ed at Little Tree Nursery in Seekonk, MA to ask when they were coming out to complete the fall over seeding and fertilizing we paid for and that was including in our hydro seeding price ($6000.00). I called him 5 separate times within two months and he said he would come out all 5 times but never did. (I have my phone bill and voicemail as evidence). We were left with weeds and bare spots so I contacted the BBB on 11/30/2009 to file a formal complaint in hopes that Ed from Little Tree would respond and repair the lawn he damaged. After he received my BBB complaint by mail, he called me in February 2010 and he said he would attempt to repair my lawn in the spring and to call and remind him in April 2010. I contacted him as agreed in April 2010 and after several weeks of trying to have Ed from Little Tree Nursery in Seekonk, MA come out to look at and repair my lawn, his crew showed up on 07 May to lay soil and ... His gross incompetence of incorrectly applying the seed caused the grass not to germinate and made my lawn muddy and un-mowable. I called him several more times (without response) to ask him to repair the lawn since his application did not take. Again, his crew showed up at my home a second time and attempted to re-seed the lawn. However, the second application was as bad as the first and the areas of my lawn that he promised he would repair remained either brown, full of weeds, or bare. At this time I asked the owner Ed for a partial refund of the amount I originally paid him so I can hire another company to repair the damaged areas. He told me he does not offer refunds and that ""You get what you get, like it or not"" then hung up. His product and service has ruined the affected areas of my lawn due to their inferior products such as substandard soil and seed along with an incompetent crew and leadership. He has claimed in the BBB that our grass is ""lush and green"" but I would not have asked to have the lawn repaired if he had done it right the first time. This owner, Ed from Little Tree is a habitual liar, makes promises he is incapable of fulfilling, and is by far one of the worst business men I have dealt with in the area of trying to negotiate a mutual agreement. I have all phone records, voicemails, and documented conversations from all my interactions with him dating back to June of 2009. I am currently seeking litigation for this unresolved matter.
