I was recommended to Fiona Sinclair at Vidal Sassoon years ago but was always too impatient to wait when I couldn't get an appointment right away. So, I've spent the last few years either disappointed or, at best, left with mediocre haircuts. I finally did go to see Fiona and had the best experience I think I've ever had in a salon. First of all, the salon is beautiful and clean and everyone is so welcoming. There was some confusion when I first arrived because there was only one woman at the desk trying to take care of too many people, me being one of them, but she seemed to handle it. I was served coffee and barely waited before Fiona came over and introduced herself. She listened to my worries and concerns (I always have more than a few!) and made a lot of suggestions. She made me look at myself, my face, my hair, in a way I never had before. Just in talking, I felt better about my hair. I ended up with a short sexy bob that was such an improvement from the choppy layers I kept getting from other people. She also gave me ideas for other looks we can do in the future. Fiona was so focused on me and gave my hair such attention that I felt really taken care of. She's funny and I felt so comfortable, something I'm usually not in a stylist's chair. The cut is definitely more expensive than what I'm used to, but I also will get more mileage out of it. I'm not used to getting so many compliments on a haircut. I'm so glad I finally went!
