My son started attending the Powell Kindercare in September 2010. I had him in the Clackamas YMCA for only a month when I pulled him. I stopped by without notice to find him soaked in his diaper with spit up all over him, and after 6 hours of care in the same clothes, alone in a bouncer... Needless to say I became very skeptical of day care facilities after that. Looking for my son's care I stopped by The Learning Tree and several in-home centers around the Gresham area where I work. From the moment I went into the Kindercare Learning Center off Powell I was welcomed and treated like a friend. From the very start of my son's care, the center director Carrie Gobble has been a fantastic person to work with. She constantly checks in, sends newsletters, updates parents on center activities, and has proven to be a genuine person overall. \r
My son started in the infant room and has now moved to the toddler room. He has had a rough time this year health-wise, and everyone at the center is always very understanding. Had we not had Carrie and the rest of the team I don't know how we would have made it through these last few months emotionally or financially. I had heard mixed things about Kindercare, but I am confident in this establishment. The center director and rest of the team make every penny of my son's care worth it and I am thankful to have them.
