My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at North to celebrate his birthday. After dinner we meet up with friends to have a few drinks at the bar. The bar staff was extremely rude -- when asked to present identification they did not want to serve my husband because he license expire (on his 34 birthday). We proceeded to advise the bartender that we just had dinner along with wine and cocktails. After speaking with her manager, she came back and said she could serve him as long as we told her who our server was. We felt extremely uncomfortable and thought it was a very inappropriate question to ask a customer. The situation became tense and the group left North and had drinks at the JW Marriott. The kicker is that our table was not ready when we arrived at North so we got a cocktail at the bar ...who did not ask for identification.
Pros: great food, great atmosphere
Cons: unprofessional bartender and management
