Last night was my second time going to this restaurant and I'm hooked. I can get my steak and my wife can get her seafood and we both like all the choices for wine. We started at the bar for cocktails and Dan, I think was the bartender's name, was very helpful and friendly. Then we moved to the main dining room for dinner. We had the tenderloin carpaccio and lobster tempura for appetizers. The carpaccio was delicious, one of the best I've ever had. Then for dinner I ordered the prime ribeye and my wife the salmon nicoise salad. My steak was cooked perfect, and I'm very hard to please. The only problem I have with the restaurant is the dark lighting, but I guess that is atmosphere for you. And the parking is a bit of a pain, but it is the Gables.
