My friend and I decided to make a major move, 700 miles away from home, to warmer weather. We thought we would just rent a moving truck and do the work ourselves. The price of the moving truck, plus the car trailer we would need came out to over $1200. So we decided to look into moving companies, just to see what prices would be like. I found about 5 companies, that were all in the same general price range, anywhere from $1600 to $2000.
