I recently had PRK surgery done at Mandel Vision and it has been the best decision I've made regarding my eyes. I've had constant issues in the past with contacts drying out with the weather or dust at work, or falling out with sports. My eye site is 20-15 about a month after surgery and still improving.
Dr. Mandel and his staff were very personable and very thorough in describing the procedure and any risks associated, and I was amazed at the amount of tests that were done beforehand to ensure proper measurements were taken of my eyes. Before the surgery, I was taken to the pre op room to relax and was able to speak with Dr. Mandel once more (he has a great sense of humor). The surgery itself was very short and I never felt a thing. I had some issues with the bandages staying in post op (twice) but the staff were very helpful in seeing that I was taken care of almost immediately. Dr Mandel also gave me a call the night of the procedure just to make sure everything was ok.
