I recently boarded my small dog here. My first concern was when one of the staff put a lead around my dog's neck to take him back to the kennel area. I have a 17 pound dog, and dogs that small should never be led by their neck, but by a body harness instead, as damage can be done to the neck and throat when using a lead around their neck. When we picked up our dog, I sat him in my lap on the short ride home and he initially smelled like baby powder, but after a few seconds down the road, it was clear this was masking a very strong smell of urine. I almost couldn't breathe on the way home the smell was so bad. As soon as our car arrived home, I carried my dog into the bath and gave him a good scrubdown. I would not take my dog here again.
