My husband wanted to take me to a special Brunch in N.C. after a difficult move from Arizona. It was the day before Valentine's Day and some tables had red flowers and I heard they were giving a complimentary glass of Champage for dinner, but not Brunch\r
\r
After waitng to get seated we waited for about 20 minutes for our server ,Ryan to come and apologize for being late. This place was chaos and bussers were running, not walking, clearly they were not prepared, though they ARE AN INFAMOUS SUNDAY BRUNCH restaurant.\r
\r
Our food took another 40 minutes after waitinf at least 20 minutes for our Bloody Mary's which I returned due to the super chunky sweetness and not a hint of liquor...not even a lone celery stick or wedge of lemon.\r
\r
My entree came cold after waiting solong. The eggs Benedict were NOT POACHED....Gummy Soft Cooked eggs and the Muffin was not toasted or warm.Barely enough Hollandaise sauce AND the crabcakes, gummy and cold.\r
\r
I am furious because The server and the owner were clueless...when I sent my food back,Ryan asked if I wanted a to go bag and I said no...that should give an expensive restaurant a clue when someone is not happy.I had complained 2 times and still paid for everything.I am calling the owner and letting him know he needs himself and staff to look at the big picture....never mind..I just did and they are too busy to answer.
