I was in town visiting friends and family, and needed a cheap place to stay for the night. Someone told me the rates there were very affordable. One of my friends stopped by to visit me. He hadn't been in the room 10 minutes when the owner called me down to the office to tell me that I couldn't have anyone come stay with me. I told him the friend was just visiting, but he kept giving me the 3rd degree about it... like I was doing something wrong by having someone stop in to say, ""Hi, great to see you in town."" I told him my friend would be leaving shortly, which he did less than 15 min later. Even though my friend had left, and the owner saw him leave, the owner walked passed my room and tried to peek in the windows several times throughout the night. I felt violated and definitely would never, ever stay there again or recommend anyone else stay there either. If it weren't for the super low rates, I don't think anyone would stay there. It's a complete sty and the creep-factor is off the chart.
