My daughter and I ate here before the ballet at the Keller Auditorium. It was close and we love steak, so thought it a good choice. We loved the presentation of the food, however it was a little daunting not knowing the prices. We ordered steak, each of us, a potato to share, tomatoes with blue cheese dressing, a glass of wine, and a water, and our bill was $260.00. However the tomatoes were huge beefsteak tomatoes with homemade bluecheese that was to die for! The steaks were good, but not worth the price. We saw a collassal shrimp cocktail in the bar, and thought we should have gotten that to share along with the tomatoes and fresh bread and we could have gotten off cheaper and still enjoyed a great meal. The ambience was superb as well as the staff and the attention of the staff. It was a beautiful place to eat. We will definitely go back, but order a bit differently, so it doesn't break the bank! I do believe though that everyone should eat at Morton's at least once in their life! I also have to say I have eaten at a steak house in Seattle, with the same service, ambience, and nowhere near the same price.
