Our son got a serious 2nd degree burn at Slappy Cakes and needed immediate emergency medical attention. He reached for his pancake and in a split second was burned terribly on his hand. This happened while my husband and I were right there. The tables are not safe at all for little ones.
The server told us they have ""never have had a bad burn happen here"" and that he was probably just scared. Well obviously after visiting the hospital this was not true. We also cannot believe that this doesn't happen more often.
The food is okay and the idea of making pancakes at the table fun. But the place is really not safe for little hands.
