We have a 5 yr old golden retriever who had bloody diarrhea about every hour and a half. Because it was a Sunday morning, our regular vet was not open. We've never had any experiences with emergency vets, but always heard they were extremely expensive. When we arrived at St. Francis, they started taking care of my dog the moment we walked in. All of the staff were extremely polite and kind. Dr. Steele was very thorough and had my dog's needs in mind. The hospital staff were upfront about costs, which were no where near as expensive as I had expected them to be for my dog's treatment. They told us what they would recommend to find what was wrong with our dog and let us decide if that was the route (and $) we wanted to do. I was skeptical to try St Francis because I read the other customers' reviews. I'm glad I made the choice to go. Thanks Dr Steele and staff!
