I used to like Ark Animal Hospital and have brought my pets there for many years. However, I am very disappointed in them. My cat has lower urinary obstruction. I've already spent alot of money at emergency vets etc. to correct the problem. The vets at Banfield told me he needs surgery which will be another thousand dollars or so. I called Ark Animal hospital to ask if they would do the surgery and allow me to make payments - not anything long and drawn out just perhaps 2 or 3 payments. They refused because the Dr. is not busy enough. Usually, Ark is very compassionate, I was surprised at their unfeeling response. I will be transferring my other pet over to Banfield Vets now.
