Your typical quiet neighborhood joint here, with a goodly number of modern sushi creations including a couple of baked ones. Reasonably priced food here, cooked with a light touch. Their (current) $9.95 special (teishoku dinner elsewhere) comes in several different combos and is a good choice.
That's especially if you get the tempura as one of the choices. Somehow, the veggies are always ripe/ripened, cooked through, relatively greaseless and served hot, as tempura is supposed to be. And they do it consistently.
Service is quite good but there's only one person on front duty currently.
Since Anzu is right off Haste, parking is not the dire problem it is elsewhere in the People's Republic.
