I was trying to find a ObGyn closer to the Heights than my previous doctor in Clear Lake. I needed my yearly exam and birth control. After doing minor research I tried Complete Women's Care Center with high hopes. I got an appointment with Dr. Lisa Beard.
Everything seemed to be going well, however I felt that my initial consultation fell on deaf ears. The yearly well women exam was roughly conducted. This was my first visit with a female gynocologist, and I was shocked at the roughness.
After starting the birth control, I returned a month later for a very uncomfortable cycle. While waiting in the back, I could hear Nurses and staff members rudely and loudly discussing other patients visits and problems. I was mortified at the thought of being the subject of such conversations myself.
To make matters worse, I had mentioned to them that I am a self pay patient and wanted to pay for all lab work up front. After paying them for my labwork, I received a bill from the Lab itself. I tried to reach the office staff at Complete Women's Care Center, to find out if this was legitimate. I left messages and two months later, I have yet to hear from them.
The problems I'm having were never addressed, and now I'll be taking a drive back to Clear Lake to see a doctor who treats his patients with respect.
From the minute I walked in the door to almost a day after each of my visits, I felt violated and demeaned.
Never have I felt more like cattle, may as well have a pap smear at the butcher shop.
