Captain Maintenance installed my laminate wood floors and not only did an excellent job; the entire team was very professional, courteous, punctual and very friendly! Out of the estimates I received they were 100% competitive with reasonable pricing (not as cheap as Lumber Liquidators advertises and not outrageous like one firms estimate I received that was three times the others and they will ONLY use flooring that is at least $3 per sqft.). They came highly recommended from a family friend and I really like the rapport I had with David, the owner and job/project lead, from the start. He is straight forward, honest and just like myself, sarcastic, so we hit it off immediately. They are also fully insured and licensed and provided proof per my condo association?s requirements. Dave showed up as scheduled to walk thru the job site for an estimate, returned to provide additional flooring samples in the type/shade I preferred and more importantly, they showed up on time, when scheduled to begin the job. They even finished so quickly I was astonished....my entire condo (one floor about 700sqft.) was completed in half a day when I was sure it would take at least a full day if not more. (They began with subfloor almost ready to go with just a little needed prep work.) They even added the trim pieces in the appropriate areas and hand finished all raw edges to match and added a beautiful trim in the kitchen where none existed before making it finished properly. So, as far as I am concerned, what's not to like?
