In the summer of 2010, my cat Bob (so named for his tiny little tuft of a tail) needed a subtotal colectomy, the removal of most of his colon. It was that or euthenizing him. The MSU clinic is reputed to do this operation well, but their price was unaffordable, so I called other vets and clinics in search of a solution. To my surprise, most were unwilling to attempt this delicate operation. But when I called the Ailurophile Cat Clinic, Dr. Hoschek said, ""Can do."" And his price was considerably lower than MSU's.
