This was my first time to visit Shelton's Salon. The salon itself was nice, clean and inviting. I was referred by a friend who had a great experience there. I found the stylist to be rude and insulting at times. There was no direction after my hair was washed...the stylist had started working on someone else and I didn't know where to wait. So, I sat with a towel on my head in the reception area while my purse and jewelry were at the stylist's station. Less than one side of my hair was dried to make sure the color was ok. What about the color on the other side? It was in the 40's that day and I left with my hair wet. I had no idea, since this was my first visit, that I was supposed to request to be scheduled enough time to have my hair dried....I assumed it was included in my appointment. I paid over $120.00 for color only, to be insulted and leave with my hair wet. My color was ok but nothing I couldn't get somewhere else. I scheduled another appointment before I left hoping my stylist was just having an off day. I've thought about my experience every day since and debate every day whether or not to keep my appointment.
