This company was contracted to clean our office and did a good job until 2011. Because our office in Austin was minimally staffed and the employees were out of the country quite a bit, it wasn't brought to my attention (at hdqtrs) until March of 2011. When I called to find out why they had not been out to clean, I was told one of the crew had broken their leg and that they were looking for another crew to take over. We continued to pay our monthly cleaning fee and I assumed they found another crew. We planned to close the Austin office in September so I arranged for a final clean prior to walk-through with the landlord. I arranged this via email and phone two weeks prior to the date Maid of Honor was to come out. I was completely mortified when I got to Austin - the office looked like it had not been cleaned in months. I called and left a voicemail with Diane S. and told her what I found - disintegrated bugs, dirty conditions, etc. and asked her to confirm they would be out for final clean. On the day they were to come out, no one called or came to clean. I called Diane S. back and she said she was trying to get someone out by the afternoon. I told her that was too late - I had an appointment with landlord at 11:00 A.M. Also, I reminded her that I made the appt. a couple of weeks before then. I told her I would clean the office myself and I wanted a refund of six months of cleaning fees because I was sure no one had been out. They have no way of confirming a crew has been out to a location!!! She said I would need to speak to John who was out of town. After numerous emails and phone calls, John finally called me on a Friday evening apologizing and saying he needed to review the information and he would call me Monday. Needless to say, no call on Monday and as of today (two weeks later) no call or email from anyone at Maid of Honor. I wouldn't recommend contracting this company for any work whatsoever. The name certainly doesn't reflect their treatment of customers. I intend to pursue them for the money they owe my company - legally and through reviews such as this as well as BBB complaint. There is no excuse for their non-responsiveness!!!! more
