Cosmopolitan Fine Arts 11/1/2011

Located in the heart of La Jolla, this exquisite gallery is an oasis of color and freshness , is hard to depart. Featuring over 263 artists, mostly European, this little gallery has built a good name since 1993. The owners, Tanya Stajdel and her husband Jim, have built a reputation for providing a great selection of original oils and sculpture with great service. They want everyone who walks into their gallery to be able to find a painting they will love and cherish for a long time. As I was admiring the beautiful masterpieces on display, handpicked by Tanya and Jim on various trips overseas, I couldn't help but notice Tanya interacting with one of her regular customers, it was like watching two old friends catching up on old times, simply sincere. Art is certainly in the air in this place, it brings a feeling of pure enjoyment in the finest esthetical sense. Trying to keep on the prerogative of being selective, Cosmopolitan has a continued focus on keeping up the highest standards in visual taste. The personable, if not instructive, relationship with the modern world, and the elevated conversation, makes it one of the most pleasant indoor locations in La Jolla. The breathtaking seaside scenery takes second place this time, once you set foot in this colorful little gallery you forget everything you had known and immerse yourself in the now more
