i understand that selling products to your clients is necessary but the approach is just as important as well. i almost left crying the last time i got a hair cut last wednesday because my stylist kept telling me how horribly dry and damaged my hair was. she kept going on and on with such attitude without end trying to get me in again to do a protein treatment saying my hair doesnt reflect light. I have never felt so insulted! my hair is VERY healthy. i dont blow dry it, i dont color it, i dont straighten it. maybe she should have used a detangler if it was hard to brush through! considering i wasnt signed up for a blow dry we did not wash my hair. I go to other salons that are just as nice (and trust me I will be going there next time) whom for 45$ will WASH CUT BLOWDRY STYLE my hair before i leave. My hair cut was NOTHING like i wanted and i have long hair and it was done in 10 mins. i felt rushed and not taken care of! I work in a salon atmosphere and my goal is to make people..especially WOMEN of all ages feel beautiful no matter what and help them GET there WITHOUT making them feel like shit about themselves.
