I have always heard good things about hospice when it came to Cancer patients but what about terminally ill patients without cancer, who are just old and have dementia. Is it your decision to give these people morphine to help them die. And is there no other pain medication on your list? I have heard more stories similar to mine about elderly people being given morphine and it just puts them to ""sleep""....permanently. My mother was under your care at a Nursing Home, and after 2 days of this medication, she goes to sleep, and doesn't wake up. Every decision made by your nurse resulted in a problem. And no one from your organization except the chaplain made an effort to even give condolences when she passed away.
