Nye Jewelers truly is a ""diamond in the rough,"" no pun intended! I had a watch which simply needed a new battery and after going to several lousy places at the Viewmont Mall where I was told I would have to leave it for a day or so, I decided to venture across the street to Nye Jewelers. I drive an eighteen wheeler and am always traveling so I needed it done quick. I was hesitant to go to Nye's at first because, it being a jewelry store, I thought it would cost an arm and a leg, but I couldn't have been more wrong! \r
The place is run by two brothers, Terry and Dennis - they are good guys, very nice and folksy. They fixed the watch ON THE SPOT at a fraction of the price of the mall vendors! While I was there I spotted some really high quality rings and diamonds, and I have been going back ever since as a regular customer.\r
It's good to know places like this still exist. Every time I have a couple off days from the big rig, I stop down to shoot the breeze with them, even if I'm not going to buy anything. There is absolutely no better place to go for jewelry in NEPA.
