For the most part, my three cats have gone to cat specialists, and the one in Ann Arbor is nice, super-clean, and friendly, but Dr Hoscheck really is the best fit for these cats. He detected a heart murmur that my eleven-year-old somehow managed to keep hidden from the Ann Arbor vet, and he's the first vet since my five-year-old was a kitten who seems allowed to touch her without giving her a sedative first (she had a bad experience at the A2 Cat Clinic after she twisted her wrist at 12wks). The building is older and doesn't get the greatest light in the office, and the front office itself has an idiosyncratic system or order, and the waiting area consists of a carpeted floor, sofa and coffee table rather than a sterile tile floor and stainless steel benches, but it's nothing that I'd say is deserving of lesser stars because it's clean enough for the front of the house. I've also not yet seen a cat clinic that doesn't have at least three or four cats living there full-time, so this is really no different.
