The numbers tell it all. I had four roofing estimates for my house. Shiner Roofing was the first estimate received. It was at $18,000. When I was not impressed and said that I wanted to compare prices,Shiner dropped to price to $11,824, if I would sign up today. Subsequently I got three other estimates for the identical same work. They were: $6285, $6425, $7850.
Shiner Roofing's reduced price was almost twice (188%) the cost of the lowest estimate. Obviously, I did not buy from Shiner Roofing.
This was a simple pitched roofed house with no valleys or special problems. I had per-selected the commonly used materials. Nothing other than over pricing is the reason
