I have had a few good meals at Tiburon. Tonight was down right awful. They were out of the chicken, one of 7 entrees on the menu. I opted to order the polenta chicken appetizer and the waitress upsized it for me. What arrived was some brown goo comprised of sugar, mushrooms, tough chicken slices and what tasted like pickled polenta. No thanks. I have tried to overlook the problems with this 'fine dining' restaurant ie: carafe of water on the table for me to pour, the dining room is far less than elegant, the location etc., but with the goo they served me tonight with a $20 price tag, I will scratch this place off the list. If only Pago were open on Monday nights.
