Service tech was prompt, but inaccurate & possibly lazy.||[]I rented their softener for several years--took over payments from the previous owner--& repeatedly asked the tech to check to make sure the softener was working properly--I was getting a lot of rust stains on my laundry & in my commode. ||[]He would always say it was & always tried to do the upsell on me.||[]Being from the Metro-Detroit area where nobody has to use a water-softener, I took him for his word & just assumed this was what living with well water was going to be like.||[]Finally the softener died. The service tech looked at it & once again tried to do the upsell also claiming that there was nothing wrong with the water-softener.||[]I called a different company to rent from & the difference in water is tremendous once we got our new softener.||[]We now have the basic softener--no "rust remover unit" that Iron-Free was trying to sell me--& there's no rust stains or build-up in the shower stall.||[]I no longer have to refridgerate the water to make it drinkable.
