I stopped by on Friday afternoon for an oil change (free coupon!). I also had noticed a humming noise coming from the rear tires. The Midas Service Rep. said I had uneven wear on the left tire, caused by weak shock absorbers. He said that I could replace the tire to eliminate the humming sound, but pointed out that the tire was still safe. I had the shocks replaced, but kept the tire. They finished the repair very quickly. I very much appreciate their prompt service, and especially their honest assessment, as I am unemployed. Midas-Short Pump will continue to be my auto service center.
