I went in for highlights on 10/1/2011. I had Maritza, and she was fabulous! My highlights over the summer went almost platinum, and I wanted to darken my naturally blonde hair for fall. I showed her magazine photos of what I wanted, and she did an amazing job. I got hi-lights, lo-lights, then an all-over toner to bring the color down to a level 9 (from level 11ish). The result is AMAZING! (Plus she was very fast and fabulous with her hi-lights!) This would have cost me a fortune at an Aveda salon, but the prices are so fantastic at the Institute that I can afford to get my hair hi-lighted regularly. I love this place and highly recommend it!
