A-1 Allstate Movers Inc Category: Movers Neighborhoods: Fourth Ward, Downtown 10/24/2011 Allstate movers said 4 times that my move was good to go - and once I signed an agreement, paid my deposit - they emailed (couldn't even call) to let me know they didn't have a truck available. Once I mentioned my signed agreement as well as verbal email agreements - they rudely mentioned "i waited to long to contact them and I should have contacted two separate moving companies". There are much more responsive and respectful companies out there - I wouldn't waste your time risking this experience. (3 days before my move they cancelled - and this was a multi-state move. Try someone who actually has 24 hour customer service - All state is a small company with a small office, they don't care if they mess up! here is the email from them : Mind you this was 3 days before my move???? YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO GET ANOTHER MOVER I DO ALWAYS ENCOURAGE CUSTOMERS TO BOOK TWO WEEKS BEFORE THEIR MOVE DATE NOT A FEW DAYS.
