All the bad reviews are true. The owner is a liar and a theif. I took my 4Runner to Lone Star Engine for a complete engine rebuild in 2007.\r

They stole my $150 high-end SUV battery and denied it. At the very end, when I was picking up my truck, he admitted they stole it and offered me twenty bucks and said that was all I was getting. Furthermore they ruined my exhaust system, plugged vacuum hoses with brass bb's, stole parts and left off parts (including intake bracket, spark plug wire looms, and a/c compressor bolts).\r

Avoid this place at all costs. They are liars and did a terrible job on my 4Runner. One year later I couldn't pass an inspection and I'm looking at over $2k in repairs to fix their mistakes.\r

Please, please don't risk it. Find somewhere else to work on your car. The cheap prices are cheap for a reason
