Used BPB to book a list-minute birthday party. Last-minute meaning a Thursday afternoon e-mail to Ryan to book a 30 headcount party for Saturday night. Ryan was very responsive to all my questions (exchanged about 20 e-mails over the span of 2 hours), and felt like great personal service.\r

Night of, the venue did not have my name/party on their list, and I thought that my plans were de-railed. I called Ryan and put him in touch w/ their event staff. They managed to get my party back on track, got my table as I wanted, and a complimenary bottle on top of the one I ordered. (Coincidentally, the same thing happened to my girlfriend who used BPB at a different venue, and a similar emergency call to Ryan to fix the reservation, which also ended up being a great party).\r

Minus 1 star for the early hiccup, but overall ended up having a great time. Wouldn't have found the venue had it not been for BPB, and the quick turn-around and hassle-free night made it all worthwhile. Hopefully my and my girlfriend's no-reservation experiences were isolated events.
