Sometimes my husband and I feel like taking a quick vacation away from everything, and that's when we go to the Saddle Peak Lodge. It's tucked away on the hills, and the place is absolutely lovely. While there it is easy to forget that we are still in L.A. It feels like were in some place out in Montana or Upstate NY. I usually have their seafood, which I like. I am not much of a meat eater, but my husband adores wild game, and he is particularly fond of their elk tenderloin.
