Our family visited this church a couple weeks ago and were immediately welcomed and helped to feel comfortable. They had people at the front door to say hello and then people came up to us after service to say hello and introduce themselves. It was definitely a very pleasant experience, not overwhelming but very genuine. That was quite a nice change from the experience we had at a much larger church down the street we visited, where we felt like a small fish in a big ocean. We were very pleasantly surprised to hear a really great sermon where the pastor was teaching straight from the bible, not just trying to make us feel good. It seems like they also have something going on for all age groups, which really appealed to us since we have kids. We are searching for a new church and will definitely return to Holy Cross.
