We just moved to the neighborhood and happened upon Pets Nyc. My Shihtzu is terrified of groomers, but was in serous need. Not once has it been easy and she always came home half traumatized (seriously). After being taken care of by ROB (so sweet!), she was playful, jumping around and looked THE BEST she has ever looked after a grooming. I've never been great at describing what I want in a grooming. Rob made light suggestions, never pushing, and I chose which ones felt right. I'm hooked on Rob at Pets Nyc, especially as my little one came out all happy and proud. What a nice, chill experience with a such a happy outcome (and I found very cool food bowls and other dog needs there as well)! TOTAL Five stars!
